Michael Matthiesen

I've been a music lover since birth, but I'm no musician. I started writing fiction after hearing about the breakup of one of my favorite 80's bands, INXS.

I'm a father of 4 boys (actually men now). I'm a Washington State Native and earned a master's in organizational behavior and a bachelor's in business administration from Warner Pacific University in Portland Oregon and an A.A.S. in Machining from Lower Columbia College in Longview, Washington.

I'm a born-again believer, and a fan of comedy and drama, with a dash of satire. I've always been interested the bands that make it, that stick together. We all have problems and issues with one another and yet, some people seem to work through it, while others can't or won't, bands are no different. I wanted to write about one that makes it!

When not writing, you can find me talking on my podcast, talking about my passions & struggles. When not there, I can be found out and about hiking Mt. St. Helen's or in The Columbia River Gorge. Oh, and listening to a wide range of music.
