Miyoshi Garrison

Miyoshi Garrison was born on March 9, 1976. She was raised by a village that included her mother Beverly Cunningham, and Aunts and Uncles. After graduating high school she had several interest such as nursing, education, and criminal justice. She studied and obtain an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice but healthcare was always her passion, She has several other certifications such as Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, and COVID Compliance Officer. She has worked in healthcare for 20 years.

She developed a strong interest in home care after her mother had a stroke and her father was diagnosed with colon cancer. She decided to study The Aging Process and start her own homecare business MIMI Cares Personal Care, After working one on one with elderly clients she saw the need for a book that would serve as a tool to help with memory.
