D.K. Berg

D. K. Berg operates in various spheres of life. During the day, she works full-time as a falconer, introducing interested people to the wild world of birds of prey. In the evenings, she devotes herself to her second passion: writing dramatic YA novels. Her stories deal with the challenges of life, friendship, courage and the search for one's own path.

The Dürre trilogy takes readers on a journey into a possible future in which the Earth is nothing more than a memory. However, the issues addressed are directly linked to the present: ecological dangers, prejudice, domestic violence and the question of how far technology can contribute to improving the world. The work is aimed at young adults and anyone who likes to embark on a journey that means more than just growing up.
