Diana Hudson

Diana Hudson has taught science in secondary schools for more than 35 years. She

is a qualified teacher of learners with specific learning difficulties and this

combination has enabled her to become both a Head of Biology and a Special

Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), during her career. Diana now focuses on

giving talks and insets for education students, teachers, and parents to help

them understand how ‘outside the box’ thinkers can best be supported to learn

effectively, gain in confidence and succeed both at school and as adults. She

writes for professional journals and is the author of Specific Learning

Difficulties what teachers need to Know and Exploring Science with Dyslexic

Children and Teens.

Diana has a PhD in Zoology but was diagnosed as having dyslexia a few years ago.
