Mohamad Hassoun

Mo Hassoun’s journey embodies transformation. After relocating to the United States in 2001, he went from washing dishes as an immigrant to becoming the CEO of a private counseling practice.

Overcoming childhood trauma, addiction, and a history of violence, Mo rebuilt his life through discipline, faith, and relentless self-mastery. Today, he is a fully licensed professional counselor (LPC), a certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor (CAADC), and holds the Master Addiction Counselor (MAC) credential. He also earned a Master’s degree in addiction treatment from Wayne State University in the city of Detroit.

Mo’s framework of competency in relapse and recidivism prevention began in 2012, shaped through frontline roles in the correctional justice system, detox units, rehabs, hospital settings, psychiatric wards, and outpatient clinics. Drawing from those experiences, he published a book on recovery “Manifestation” after interviewing more than 3,000 inmates and consumers battling addictions—offering deep insights into integrating the human dimensions of healing.

As a global speaker, Mo has shared messages of resilience, recovery, and self-optimization on platforms across the U.S. He also facilitates The Masterclass, a holistic wellness program designed to move members from compromised to optimized states. Beyond the stage, Mo’s message has reached millions through his YouTube channel, which has garnered over one million views worldwide.

From the ashes of struggle to a life of purpose, Mo’s mission is clear: to help others master their blindspots and unlock their highest potential.
