I grew up on a farm in Mt. Washington Ky. Like Joni, the main character of my story, I use to day dream a lot. I knew there was more to the world than just working on a farm. It wasn’t until I was older and experienced all I had day dreamed about, that I realized just how lucky I was growing up where I did. Throughout my life one thing always stuck with me, my love of Christmas! I loved going out to my Grandparents house for Christmas dinner with all of the family. Hanging out with cousins, eating at the kids table, those were some of the happiest times of my life. I've always loved kids, though I never had any of my own. One thing that fascinates me is seeing Christmas through the wide eyed innocence of a child. It reminds me of the first Christmas I remember of Mom and my brothers decorating our tree together, then getting a visit from Santa! It’s one of my most cherished memories. So I try to recreate that magical experience every year, in hopes that some little boy or girl would feel the same and keep the Christmas spirit in their hearts forever. Though I am the author of this book, I feel like all I did was write down what came to me. I truly believe this story was given to me from up above and want to give credit where credit is due. So call it divine inspiration or a life time of loving Christmas, I present to you ‘A Fine Line between Naughty and Nice’!
