William Henry Rupp

As a former small-town newspaper and online editor/reporter, I spent most of my career writing, editing, and reporting on community news, including local government, politics, police, education, business and high school and college sports. Sixteen-hour days were not unusual, especially on deadline or election days - among my favorite work days. For approximately ten years while two of my children were growing, I left the newspaper business to work a more normal schedule in public relations and marketing communications for two colleges. Ink flows in my blood, I guess. I eventually returned to the news business, my first love. Now I am on to another chapter in my life. I hold M.A. and B.A. degrees in journalism and advertising from Penn State University and studied holistic counseling at Salve Regina University. My wife, Cyndy, and I have five children and six grandchildren in a blended family.
