Patrick McHugh

Patrick McHugh was born in Detroit and first came to Martha’s Vineyard during his college summers to paint houses, shuck oysters and catch fish. A self-taught artist, he’s been writing and producing award-winning children’s entertainment and advertising for over 20 years. He created MUDWIG to introduce his daughters to the beauty and magic of their island home. Patrick lives on the Vineyard with his family and their ‘sea dog’ Bugsy. Someday, he hopes to have his own pet potbelly pig.
