Jackie Jones

Jackie, "JJ", Jones is a successfully published author of children's books in Monroe, LA. She's a full-time employee at ULM, a wife, and a mother. She started writing her children's books in 2013 and launched her first book in October 2021. The name of her book series is called “The Journey of Little Sky”. Her first book in the series is called “Little Sky Wants to Fly”.

Jackie has sold close to 1,000 books since she launched her first book. Little Sky Wants to Fly is about a little airplane that wants to fly with bigger airplanes. However, since she’s so small, she’s not strong enough to fly. She thinks of many different ways to help her but she just couldn’t get off the ground. If she did get off the ground, she didn’t fly very far. Her mother told her different things she can do to get strong enough to fly, but she insisted on trying things her own way. Finally, Little Sky decided to listen to her mother and before she knew it she was flying. Even though Little Sky was able to fly, she still needed to learn the safest way to take off and land. Therefore, Little Sky enrolled in flight school. The end of each book in the series introduces the topic of the next book. Each book comes with a coloring book and different activities at the end.
