Dr Pablo E Hernandez-Rojas

To talk about oneself is not an easy task. My name is Pablo Emilio Hernandez Rojas, a simple guy who lives in Venezuela, born in Valencia a long time ago, and blessed by my parents Pedro and Chalo who got me before my siblings Pedro, Shaily and Paul.

Before my adulthood, I was raised in Valencia and there I did most of my studies. Those 80s years made me a good student, and then I found a place in the School of Medicine in University of Carabobo.

After my MD degree in 1996, I started OB GYN in the main hospital of my city, and then, I was blessed to be accepted in the prestigious Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in the National Institute of Perinatology (INPer) and Hospital Lopez Mateos from ISSSTE.

Mexico thought me how to become a maternal fetal medicine subspecialist, but it also showed me how to deal in my profession in many ways, specially in high risk pregnancies, and the fetus became my patients, as well as high risk pregnant mothers.

After a while (counted in years), I became professor in my Universidad de Carabobo, and I found the oportunity to enrole in PhD program in medical sciences, which I finished in late 2019.

My hobbies had always been related to studies and sports. In my childhood I was a high competition swimmer in Los Acuaticos of Carabobo and since 15 years I've been working out in fitness inside a gym, specially lifting weights. Perhaps, that's why I insist in a proper lifestyle of every mother, as well as I know the potential and strength they are in thar special moment when they deliver a baby.

But my main achivement has been to make a wonderful woman as my wife Cachi to keep being in love with me, and I'm thankful to have my beautiful dauther Eloisa, celebrating all her triumphs in her studies and her gimnastic practice.

I love enjoying life, I love to have a warm cup of coffee in the mornings, then go to my hospital and help poor mothers to have healthy babies and to improve morbility and mortality statistics in the city I live, La Victoria. Aragua State took me as a son, and I have represented my new city in all national and international science and obstetric forums.

But I consider myself as a lucky man. Lucky enough to have the capacity to transmit my thoughts to other, to deal with pregnant women, to defend life, health and to dream a future in my world without problems in pregnancy.

A dreamer? Yes, I am.
