Manoranjan Arakha

Dr. Manoranjan Arakha is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Biotechnology, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (Deemed to be University), Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He received his Doctorate in Life Science from National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India, and subsequently pursued post-doctoral research at Centre for Bio Nano Interaction, University College Dublin, Ireland. He has also earned M.Tech. in Biotechnology and Medical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from North Orissa University, Odisha, India. He has published more than 25 peer-reviewed journal articles, 5 book chapters, 2 books and has presented at many national/international conferences. He has 11 years of experience in nanotechnology. His areas of interest include formulation and characterization of various nonomaterials and also in exploring the interaction of nanomaterials with biological macromolecules for various biomedical applications. He has also filed an non-commercial Indian patent. He received Overseas Post Doctoral Fellowship from Science and Engineering Research Board, India 2017. He has also received Start Up research grant from University Grants Commission (UGC), India in 2019. He is associated with many scientific societies as a life time fellow member. He has reviewed many research articles for international journals from Nature Publishing group, Elsevier, Springer etc.
