The Honorable Darryl Brackeen Jr is a father, husband, educator, historian/theologian, elected official, political practitioner, entrepreneur, public speaker, and author. Brackeen is a leader in historical education, political science, religious education, and business management consultancy. Darryl holds a bachelor's degree from Fairfield University in history & political science and Masters in Religious Education from Fordham University. He is the founder of DJBJ Motivational Media, which provides leadership development training and consulting to many religious leaders, educators, political practitioners, and non-profit/business executives. Darryl has been awarded CT Magazine's 40 Under 40 and named one of the top 100 up-and-coming men of color. Brackeen has written and published many scholarly historical and religious articles.
