Darrell Weaver is the elected State Senator from Moore, Oklahoma and is serving his second term in the Oklahoma Senate. He is the retired Director of the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control, where he served twenty-eight years with the agency. He spent nine years as the agency head and chief drug enforcement officer for the state of Oklahoma. In 2014, he was inducted into the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Hall of Fame. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and the Senior Management Institute for Police. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration. Weaver enjoys physical fitness and working out.
He is married to the love of his life Kim, who is a physician, and they have five children. Weaver is a devout follower of Jesus Christ and attends Timber Creek Fellowship Church in Norman, Oklahoma. He speaks at churches and organizations through R. Darrell Weaver Ministries.
