William H. Nugent was born on the shorter part of Long Island, New York and moved to central Virginia as a teenager. He attended and repeatedly graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University until receiving a PhD in Physiology and Biophysics. From there his career as a Research Physiologist has spanned the spectrum from epigenetics through tissue and organ systems to combat trauma. When Will is not doing non-fiction, he is indulging the creative side. A passion for reading turned into this weird thing for writing and now there are books. If you’re viewing this, there’s probably a way to click on those books and see what’s up. If not, then greed has failed us.
The current project, Realms’ Anchor, is a military action/ epic fantasy series where a team of hardnosed US Marines battles their way across worlds and realities. It’s a cultural and technological clash that no one signed up for but can’t walk away from. No matter how backward, the mission is always forward.
Last only because that's how these biographies are usually ordered, Will still lives in beautiful central Virginia with his wife and 3 kids.
