Erwan Ferri is a former high level French-Italian judoka. Born in 1984, he graduated from the Sorbonne University in Russian language and literature as well as in FLE (French as a foreign language). He then left for Japan for a few months to train in judo in the most prestigious universities of the country (Tenri in particular). A professional opportunity finally made him stay more than 6 years in Japan, forcing him to learn Japanese very quickly, which he managed to do in a few months. Back in France, he became a teacher in French as a foreign language and created, with his friends Soo Niewiarowski and Éric Lakis, his own publishing house Tangun publishing dedicated to language learning. He keeps strong links with Japan by spending several weeks a year there.
