I was raised as a Roman Catholic...by Protestants. Before Vatican 2, non-Catholics who married Catholics had to agree to raise their children Catholic. I became an agnostic as a teenager in the volatile 1960s. It wasn't until New Year's Eve 1969, in a Naval Training Center, that I gave my life to Jesus Christ while reading the Gideon's New Testament issued on my induction. Since then my wife and I have led an evangelistic coffeehouse, planted two house churches, led an evangelistic drama team, written 6 plays and numerous street skits, directed and acted in the dramas, ministered in several states and in the Ukraine, taught and preached the Word of God. No pedestals, though; there were also a couple of serious backslides along the way. What I share is NOT to be considered authoritative teachings; just my heart's understanding of God's Word.
