Eric Lockeyear

Eric Lockeyear served for over 30 years as a member of the Hong Kong Police, and then the Royal Hong Kong Police after its change of status. He held a variety of positions, including, for some time, as a Special Branch interrogator.

After retiring from the police and meandering halfway round the world on his yacht, he established a consultancy in governance reform and anti-corruption, becoming a panel expert on combatting corruption for both the United Nations and the European Union.

Having finally hung up his spurs from proper gainful employ, he now writes, sails, flyfishes and provides empirical analysis on grape fermentation.

He lives in Cornwall with his wife Cynthia, when not travelling in pursuit of a scattered band of children and grandchildren.
