Kay Carroll

Kay Carroll is an entrepreneur and author on the topic of small business start-ups.

Growing up, Kay was very curious, constantly trying to understand how the things around her worked. At age 10, she launched her first business in which she sold her unused toys on eBay to become one of the original power sellers. From that moment on, Kay was hooked on the “side hustle“ mentality - she took every opportunity put in front of her as a way to learn and to build cash flow. After graduation, Kay jumped into the start-up world in the Bay Area and was an early employee at a number of different companies, including a handful that were acquired.

Throughout this journey in the start-up world, Kay continuously applied her learnings to various side hustles. She owns and operates businesses including both short and long term rental properties, eCommerce stores, vending machine routes, and a handful of other successful endeavors. Today, Kay is sharing her learnings through a variety of educational resources with the goal of helping others achieve their goals and ultimately, become financially independent.
