In 1997, after graduating from the University of Miami with a degree in journalism and multiple publishing credits to my name, I bought an orthodontic lab. Life is funny

I became a leader and educator in my field but never lost my love of writing and traveling. After 25 years, I have returned to my first passions.

My first adventure abroad was as a student at the University of Glasgow. I arrived with $150 in my pocket to wait the month and a half until my student loans kicked in.

My resume includes chef, Infantryman and a multitude of trades. These days, I’m concentrating on Author and Mental Health Advocate.

I am a person who stutters and I struggle with depression.
