Nancy Hughes

Nancy Hughes has a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Relations from Brigham Young University. She then taught hearing impaired preschool children. Later in life she taught first grade in an inner-city school specializing in education and emotional development.

Nancy and her husband Dennis are the parents of five children and thirteen grandchildren. Some of them are on the autism spectrum. Nancy has had over forty seven years of experience with autism as a mother, grandmother, educator, and Special Olympics volunteer.
