Glenn P. Booth

Glenn was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba where he lived with his Ukrainian grandmother after he was orphaned just before his fourteenth birthday. He grew up listening to her stories about "Them Days" growing up on the homestead near Gimli and life in Winnipeg in the 1910s and 1920s. Her stories, along with those of other family members, provided the launching pad for Them Days, although Glenn of course augmented that with considerable historical research.

Glenn lives in Calgary with his Brazilian-born wife of 36 years, with whom he has two grown sons. He enjoys hiking, scrambling, skiing, and mountain biking in the Rocky Mountains and the Foothills near Calgary. His first novel, "Demons in Every Man", a police procedural / murder mystery was published by Friesen Press in 2019.
