Elaine M. DeGroot

Originally from Minnesota, Upstate South Carolina is my retirement home. Hubby, Mike, is a retired USAF Chief Master Sergeant and loves year-round golfing! Our Belgian Malinois-German Shepherd mix, Missy, keeps us busy and entertained (she's also my author assistant.) They’re my inspiration, distraction, and life.

After twelve years in the USAF, I continued to serve as a civilian with the Department of Veterans Affairs, on to the USAF, a fun stint with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and ended at the VA. All told, I served thirty years and loved every minute.

Steamy romance is my forte.
