Chris Nuttall-Smith is a celebrated food writer and journalist, as well as a resident judge on Top Chef Canada. He's written about backcountry skiing, paragliding and other adventures for Esquire, how to roast a whole pig in a windstorm for The Wall Street Journal, finding a great bowl of pho for Lucky Peach, and winter camping on Baffin Island for the men's magazine Toro. During his run as restaurant critic at The Globe and Mail, a profile in The Guardian said, "His influence, both positive and negative, is colossal." An avid backpacker, hunter, skier and wilderness paddler, he's currently planning a kayak trip to Haida Gwaii.
