Alexandra Lucas

Alexandra Lucas is currently a student at Arizona State University majoring in elementary education with a minor in psychology and a passion for art. Her creative background heavily influenced the decision for a vibrant color scheme and the general illustration style throughout the book. Her artistic experience over the years stems from various volunteer work done during her high school tenure for organizations around the country. One of the projects that had a long-lasting impact on her were portraits that she created for children living in underprivileged areas, and seeing the joy that it brought them enhanced her motivation to bring art alive for all children. Her biggest inspiration is knowing that she can uplift others with what she creates and help bring families closer together through her collaborative work with Jennifer Barrett and Chris Hildebrand.
