Timothy G. Pollock

Tim Pollock is the Haslam Chair in Business and Distinguished Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. He is also an International Research Fellow of the Oxford University Centre for Corporate Reputation, and a Research Fellow in the Haslam College of Business Neele Corporate Governance Center. Tim has served as an Associate Editor for the Academy of Management Journal and on the editorial review boards of most of the top journals in management, and has published multiple articles in all of the top management journals. In addition to conducting research on the role social evaluations such as reputation, status, celebrity and stigma play in socially constructing markets, shaping corporate governance, and influencing decision making, Tim writes about and conducts workshops on using storytelling in Academic Writing. He lives in Knoxville, TN with his wife, the artist Sarah Pollock, and his dog Maple.
