Jade Stephenson

Jade Stephenson grew up around North Yorkshire and Teesside; she loves to go on walks around the countryside and enjoys being around nature and animals. She has always loved reading books and watching movies and tv shows especially Disney and Anime and she has always been fascinated with how animated movies and shows are made. While writing her books she tries to imagine what they would look like on screen to help her describe the scenes and it helps her with the stories.

Throughout her life she has been around different animals, and she has helped look after many, she based her first children's story on her two lovely rabbits, Thumper and Flower and she hopes to write more stories about her other pets in the future.

The Magical Jewel, the first book in the Mystical Knight series is her first novel. She came up with the idea a long time ago while out walking her cocker spaniel dog Spencer, she used to find different colored stones and pottery in the fields she walked in, and she wondered what it would be like to find something magical. She named the main character Rose after her favorite flower and as she studied her NVQ Level 1 and 2 in Horse Care at the Unicorn Centre she decided to have Rose work and live with horses too.

Sunlight City is the second book, and Secrets, Shadows and Spies is the third book in the Mystical Knight series, She enjoyed writing these books and coming up with the new characters and places in the story. You also get to hear more about the Shapeshifters, Fairies and other magical creatures. She hopes to write more books in this series.

Rabbit Tails, Christmas Special. The Adventures of Flower and Thumper is her first children's story book. She wanted to make a picture book about animals and decided to choose her own rabbits as the main characters, she has always loved to color in and do puzzles, so she decided to add them to the story too. As she loves spending time with her family at Christmas she set the story at Christmas. She hopes to write more stories about Flower and Thumper and her other pets that have lived with her and her family.

Rabbit Tails, New Home and Easter Special is now also available, and she has also made some journals/notebooks.

Jade has also helped her Dad put together his book- Thanks for the Memory- A Musical Journey.
