Harley M. Bramlett is an author with a revolutionary perspective of literary analyses that highlight modern warfare’s effect on literature, post-war treatment of veterans, and the uninvestigated consequences of trauma on the mind and body.
Bramlett graduated from the University of North Georgia in the spring of 2020 with her bachelor degree in English Literature and a minor in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensics. While completing her undergraduate schooling, Bramlett was a military police officer (MP) in the Georgia Army National Guard, a cadet in the Boar’s Head Brigade at UNG, an English tutor for cadets, and an active member of Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society. She is also recipient of two leadership awards while serving in the Army by the very sergeant to whom The Pities of War is dedicated.
Bramlett is currently pursuing her master degree in Clinical Counseling with a concentration in Trauma and Crises with plans to dedicate her work to helping veterans get the holistic care they need while creating forums for conversations about veterans that are not being had.
