Hi! I'm Samantha Couste, the founder of Acrylic Arts Academy.

I grew up in Lisbon, Maine, and earned an art degree from the University of Southern Maine. After a nearly 10-year stint working in healthcare, I learned it's way more fun to work for myself; I moved to Louisiana and started my own business.

At Acrylic Arts Academy, we teach the world to paint. We're a community of people who are passionate about art and want to share their knowledge with others. We help people realize their creative potential by teaching them everything they need to know about acrylic painting to create beautiful works of art that are truly their own.

I have been an artist since childhood. I created Acrylic Arts Academy to make acrylic painting education accessible to all. It's not just about learning how to use a brush; it's about learning how YOU feel about your work—and then sharing that feeling with others! That's why we do everything from tutorials to specialized artist communities—so you can learn at your own pace while still interacting with other budding artists like yourself. No one should be limited by their location or financial situation when it comes to experiencing the joy of creating beautiful works of art!
