Lynda Thrift

I have been writing documents,papers in one form or another since first submitting my masters' thesis. Thanks to my scientific background, I have enjoyed a varied career, with jobs in radiocarbon dating, science management, and the civil service.

I spent five happy years in Australia where I had two daughters, and played a part in stopping the flooding of the Franklin River in Tasmania. I then returned to the northern hemisphere where I worked in the UK and in Europe (including former Soviet States).

Now I am semi-retired. My children have grown, flown, and have their own. To keep me occupied, I have two dogs,four cats and enjoy volunteering.
