Steven J Spence

Steven J Spence is an award-winning author with a passion for teaching life lessons. Born in Germany and raised in the United States, Spence has always been fascinated by the power of words and the ability to simplify complex systems and ideas through literature.

After making a late-in-life career change to real estate investing, Spence discovered many things in the financial world that he learned throughout his life were wrong. After many years of self-study and the pursuit of truth, he has found that most ordinary people were like him and lived in a deceptive world when it came to everything financial. What he discovered is that the lack of knowledge was holding most people back from financial success, that is keeping them on the hamster wheel with no hope. His work has been featured in Authority Magazine, and numerous top-rated podcasts in the United States and England.

Spence's first book, "Money, Plain & Simple; What the Institutions and the Elite Do Not Want You to Know" was published to critical acclaim and established him as a rising talent in the financial literary world.

Spence's writing is characterized by its depth, empathy, and insight into the human condition. He is known for his ability to capture the nuances of everyday life and turn them into poignant and compelling stories that resonate with ordinary readers. Where other authors are on top of the mountain, sharing their lessons to help you up the mountain, Spence’s writing has him come down the mountain to meet you and help you along the way up.

When he is not writing, Spence enjoys his chickens, gardening, biking and spending time with his family. Most importantly, he spends many hours mentoring those who want to make financial changes to their lives. He currently lives in South Florida with his wife and dog.
