Chris Naylor is a writer with a deep personal connection to Ireland and its diaspora. His great grandmother Bridget crossed the Atlantic on the RMS Caronia in 1920, leaving Ireland during the War of Independence in search of a new life in America. His grandfather and his brothers made the journey from County Mayo to England in search of work, part of the generation that helped build modern Britain while never losing their Irish roots.
Where the Shamrocks Thrive is Chris's collection of poems, blessings, and reflections, written as a tribute to Ireland, its people, and the millions scattered across the world who still carry the Emerald Isle in their hearts.
Chris lives in the north of England and visits Ireland regularly, finding inspiration in its landscapes, its history, and its people.
