Robert Fegg

Robert is a successful coach in the sport of luge. He has coached on several levels with athletes on the development team, national team, and Olympic team over the past 20 years. Coaching has been in Robert’s blood since he wrapped up an eight-year career sliding on the German National Team in 2002. He cut his teeth into the coaching ranks the following year when he became the assistant coach of the Canadian Luge Team. With coaching stints in Canada from 2002 to 2014 (Olympic Games Torino 2006 and Vancouver 2010), South Korea from 2014 to 2018 (Pyeongchang 2018), the USA from 2018 to 2022 (Beijing 2022), and now back in Canada as the head coach, Robert collected a wealth of knowledge from around the globe. Robert is committed to developing an athlete-centered program where athletes can develop on and off the ice.
