K. L. Small

Kathleen "K. L." Small writes fantasy stories, both short stories and novels, for the young and young at heart. She lives in Florida on a ranch called Carousel Acres, with her husband, two horses, four cats, and assorted wildlife.

She is a four-time award winner in the Florida Writers Association Royal Palm Literary Award competition. She has written four middle grade books: A DRESS TO REMEMBER: A FAIRY TALE, and The Brass Ring Series (THE MAGIC CAROUSEL, THE CHRISTMAS CAROUSEL, and THE HAUNTED CAROUSEL). She has also published two contemporary novels: LETTERS FROM SHADOW OAKS and A CAROUSEL FOR SHADE TREE. Her first YA fantasy is available for preorder: THE STRANDLOCK.
