Mauro Ghersi

Born in Rome, Italy, Mauro Ghersi graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Rome.

After working briefly as a university professor and an engineer in the petrochemical industry, he spent thirty years in steel production. As Director of Process Innovation, he traveled worldwide, in Europe, the United States, Russia, Japan, and China.

He moved to the United States in 2012, joining his children, and became a US citizen in 2015.

His first book, “Our Life in Italy” published in 2018, is an autobiography mixed with historical moments of his country.
