Hanna Flint

Hanna Flint is a London-based, British-Tunisian film critic, author and emerging screenwriter whose work sits at the intersection of cinema, identity and popular storytelling. Widely published across major international outlets including The Guardian, Empire, GQ, Sight & Sound and BBC Culture, she has built a career defined by sharp analysis, emotional intelligence and a deep understanding of how cinema shapes and reflects the world around us.

Her debut book, Strong Female Character: What Movies Teach Us, was published by Footnote Press in 2022 and re-released in 2024. It combines memoir and film criticism to explore how popular cinema informs personal identity, further cementing her reputation as a distinctive, authoritative voice on screen storytelling.
