Aishah Hight

Aishah Hight is an award-winning children’s book author who crafts stories inspiring kindness, hope, and courage. Her second book, Cake, Lemonade, and Sprinkles, won the American Legacy Book Award and Literary Titan Book Award, and was a finalist in the National Indie Excellence Awards.

Born in Queens, New York, and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Aishah draws on her experiences in diverse communities to create uplifting narratives that reflect children’s dreams and potential. She has published two books and continues developing stories that empower and affirm young readers.

Beyond writing, Aishah holds a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and works as a project manager—skills she uses to balance creativity with service. Outside of work, she loves suspense movies, family dance sessions, and promoting stories that help children see the best in themselves and others.
