Suzanne Hemming

After a career in film & TV, mum of one, Suzanne Hemming, decided to start writing after searching for books for her daughter, with more up to date messages of equality and acceptance than the traditional tales she had read as a child. As much as she loves a fairy tale, she believes women should not give up their voices (or mermaid tales!) for a man! With 3 award-winning rhyming picture books under her belt, Hemming is now writing chapter books, as requested by her daughter, Thea.
