Lauren Piland

Mom and former elementary teacher Lauren Piland created the Blooming Rose children’s series after leaving the classroom in 2017. Aiming to engage and entertain children of all ages with wondrous stories, Lauren hopes these real world experiences can model healthy emotional support tools to use in and out of the classroom. Modeled after her own two children Avery Rose and Owens “Rex”, she hopes series characters will relate to children by showing how big emotions can lead to small victories!

When not writing, reading and visiting classrooms, you can find Lauren at home on her farm outside of Houston with her family and cast of animal characters including their horses, dogs, kitty, naughty goats, sweet chickens, and small herd of cows & calves.
