Sarbajit Chowdhury

Sarbajit Chowdhury is a young man from a small town who lives by the motto, "Be patient, work hard, manifest, and trust in God's timing." The goal of this great writer is to leave a legacy and become irreplaceable. In his last year of college, he started his writing professionally. As a literature student, he used to daydream often and have creative thoughts, but he never knew how to put them into words. He was once overly inspired while listening to Kamala Das’s lecture and penned some poetry as a result. That was the beginning; he never looked back and just gave his thoughts wings.

He came up with the title "The Sluggish Fire" while writing his second book because he wanted to give it a name that precisely captured its spirit and would inform readers of what to expect. This book's overarching theme and central premise focus on providing encouragement and fortitude in order to recover from trauma. He hopes to kindle a fire in the readers' hearts that don't just go out, one that may not even burn to the highest flames but still burns out. It is comparable to the tiniest glimmer of optimism; it never fades and simply provides all the energy. Slowly burning, the fire will continue to burn, giving readers a reason to live.

Sarabjit Chowdhury is the man behind two successful poetry gems. For his first book, he won eight awards, including the INDIAN LITERARY AWARD 2020 and BEST POETRY BOOK 2020. Additionally, he has been featured in a number of journals and newspapers, including The News Now, Foxstory India, Maxtem Media, Times of India, and Hindustan Times. Following the enormous success of his poetry collections, he is currently writing his first novel, which deals with bullying and its most destructive consequences.
