Using the deep, rich colors in alcohol ink, Sheryl Williams plays with light and shadow and brings her heart, laughter, and joy to her paintings. she only paints images that touch her soul and hopes they will touch you as well. She pushes the envelope to create realistic, vibrant, detailed paintings in a medium best known for abstract beauty. After many years experimenting with this new medium she found success and joy controlling the "uncontrollable."

An award-winning artist in watercolor, alcohol ink, oil, and charcoal, Sheryl loves to teach. Her greatest thrill is the moment when a student "gets it" and can truly express themselves in their art. She teaches her skills online through the CreateSmArt Academy, offering an online Alcohol Ink Master Course that starts at the very beginning works all the way up to advanced representational art. She is excited to bring the joy of alcohol inks to students who love color and want to try their hand at combining representational art with beautiful, poured backgrounds.
