Maya C. Klinger

Award-winning children’s author Maya C. Klinger is an educator at heart. Before becoming

an author, she worked as a teacher and a librarian, thus combining her love of children with

her love of books.

Maya’s debut book, The Photographer’s Son, received the prestigious Yad Vashem Award

and was named ‘Book of the Month’ by the German Academy for Children’s Literature.

Maya is also a lecturer in the fields of Holocaust Education and Biblical Studies.

She lives in Maryland with her family.
