Bob Finertie is a two-time survivor of cancer, melanoma in 1975 and colon cancer in 1993. He writes to offer hope to others who have this disease. He tells about what worked for him in the first instance when melanoma began to metastasize, and things got scary. After an interval of eighteen years, he was diagnosed with colon cancer, unrelated to the melanoma, and survived a re-section which removed a duke's B tumor along with 14 in. of his sigmoid bowel. He turned 90 and lives in Walnut Creek, California with his wife, Leslie and their cockapoo Copper.
