As a mom and retired family and consumer sciences teacher, school administrator, and adjunct professor, I am a family engagement influencer.

In addition to being a blogger, keynote speaker, guest presenter for family and educational organizations, and YouTuber, I publish resources to help and encourage members of the family. My content also gives parents ideas for strengthening their role in the lives of their children at home. The biggest part of my work empowers parents and educators to build their capacity to engage with one another by functioning as a team to benefit the education of students. Simply stated, my mission is to ignite family engagement in education and at home.
