With a last name like Camp and a hometown like Erie, Pennsylvania, Bill Camp was born to write horror and science fiction. He currently lives in Suffolk, Virginia with his family which includes four cats and two dogs. His fiction has appeared in Madame Gray’s Poe-Pourri, Page and Spine, Teach. Write., parABnormal Digest. He also writes poetry, which has been published in Alternative Deathiness, Teach. Write., Lite Lit One, and New Author’s Journal. Additionally, he is a current member of the Horror Writers Association and is the recipient of the 2018 HWA Rocky Wood Memorial Scholarship in Non-Fiction Writing for a research project on the history of Frankenstein in film. He currently teaches college composition and literature courses at Paul D Camp Community College and Norfolk State University, a traditionally Black university.
