Yotam Kay

Founders of Pākaraka Permaculture, Niva and Yotam Kay are revolutionising food-growing practices worldwide. From their ¼ acre farm on the Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand, they produce over 10,000 kgs of fresh vegetables sold to their local community. Their first book 'The Abundant Garden - A Practical Guide to Growing a Regenerative Home Garden' was a #1 bestseller in NZ, and their upcoming book 'The Abundant Kitchen - A Practical Guide to Making Ferments, Preserves and Pickles' is out October 2023. Niva and Yotam were awarded the peer-reviewed 'Farmer of the Year' at the 2021 Organic NZ Awards. They teach workshops about home gardening, market gardening and fermentation online and on the farm.
