Lowell W. Busenitz

Lowell Busenitz greatly enjoys helping people connect with God, particularly in the context of their work. Impactful insights based on biblical truth can be a major catalyst for growing our relationship with God.

Upon graduating from college, Lowell worked as a campus minister with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship for six years and then moved into construction and soon became an entrepreneur. He then pursued his Ph.D.in management from Texas A&M University. Upon completion, he became a professor at the University of Houston followed by 20 years at the University of Oklahoma where he co-founded the Center for Entrepreneurship. He is a top 10 global researcher in entrepreneurship and is now Professor Emeritus.

The significance of work on faith has long been a front-burner issue for Lowell. God has graciously offered insight for growing his spiritual walk. In Soul Work, Lowell articulates the radical significance of work for knowing God. Work matters for eternity!

As a frequent speaker at conferences, events, churches, and universities, Lowell addresses entrepreneurship, finding God already at work, the parables of Jesus, and spiritual formation.

Lowell lives in Littleton, Colorado with his wife Gloria where he enjoys hiking, time with grandkids, writing, and involvement in Wellspring Church.
