Petr Jane?ek

Ethnologist, folklorist and writer from Prague, Czechia. The author of several annotated collections of contemporary Czech verbal folklore such as series about urban legends and rumours "Černá sanitka" ("The Black Ambulance", 2006, 2007, 2008, 2020), book about contemporary ghostlore "Krvavá Máry" ("Bloody Mary", 2015) and edited monograph "Folklor atomového věku" ("Folklore of the Atomic Age", 2011). Petr Janeček is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague.
