Kathy Buchen

Kathy Buchen is the author of thirteen books and eleven novels in the Rhiannon Nolan cozy mystery series. The latest is Game of Scones: The Cana Island Lighthouse Mystery, published under Kathryn Buchen. She holds a degree in education and a Master’s in Library Science from the University of Wisconsin. She worked for many years as a librarian near her hometown of Appleton, Wisconsin. Her profile picture was taken at the Anne of Green Gables Center on Prince Edward Island, Canada, one of her favorite places! She is the mother of two grown children who have provided her with a lot of material for her novels. She loves reading, long walks, dogs, and writing. Now retired, she volunteers and goes out for long lunches with her BFFs when she isn't hard at work on the next Rhi Nolan adventure. She grew up to be a librarian and write cozy mysteries because as a child, she read incessantly, her favorite game was Clue, and her favorite solution was Miss Scarlett in the library with the candlestick. Her novels have been used by local book clubs, and Death in a Pink Cadillac was the August, 2019 mystery novel for the AAUW Fox Cities Chapter book discussion.
