Mory Carballo

Mory Carballo. She Was born and raised in Cuba. Ever since she was a little girl, teaching, music, and art has been her passion. In Cuba, she had the opportunity to put into practice some of her skills as a teacher. She enjoys teaching and remembers the students calling her Maestra, Teacher, and the smiles they put on her face. Then she comes to the United States when she was twenty-seven.

She has been living in Florida for the past fifteen years. Writing her book has been the most rewarding experience that she could ever ask for. Through literature, she has shared her journey from Cuba to America. She vividly recalls the smell of Tabaco, the family reunion in Cuba, with her father playing some musical instruments in the background.

At the same time, learning English as a second language and getting to mature in the American culture has been a journey worth sharing with you. She came to the United States to learn the language, work hard, and make her father Proud. She went to college and graduated with an associate degree in arts.

She worked from the housekeeping job to the computer desk as a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling her daughter, helping her husband with his business, and bringing her writing career alive. Today, she certainly earned the right to tell you that dreams come true; your dreams are the ones you write down yourself. However, how you get it, there will change from time to time. And with time, you will change also. But your dreams will remain from generation to generation to tell.
