Richard Collis

Richard has lived in Portishead with his family for 10 years, moving to the Bristol area from London. He has been a secondary school English teacher for 20 years since completing his teacher training after graduating with a degree in English, Film and Drama from Reading University. A keen film fanatic and sports fan, Richard enjoys adventuring with his family and, when at home, writing. ‘Wolf Mother’ is his second novel after the success of ‘The Pool’, seeing him return to the land of Fenwood to explore further the themes of loyalty, chaos and nature.
